Introduction
Eric Gunner is an OC within the Outlast Universe. He is one of the many villains within the fanfiction “A
Whistleblower and his Accomplice”. He was a husband and father to one son and a wife and is a notorious serial killer.
Motivation
Based on the documents, it’s safe to say Gunner intends to relive his life as a “devoted husband and father” as he puts it.
Personality
Much like Eddie Gluskin, he holds “childlike” behavior. He’s childish and adult-like. He may have a “childlike”
view of parenthood. His voice is often mixed with guilt when he scares someone off, offering to “make it better”
after he chases his “wife”. The courtyard had been taken over by Eric and had been turned into a “tea party” or “play pretend” as
he puts it.
Views/Opinions
It’s possible Eric may be transphobic and homophobic as he has a history of torturing transgender and gay people.
Some have reported that he would target those that he deems as “trannies”.
Background Story
Eric Gunner was married with one son. He walked in one day walked in on his wife in bed with another man.
Enraged, he killed both the wife and her lover. Seeing his son “choose her over him” sent him further
into a rage and he killed him. By the time he realized what he had done, it was too late. He didn’t feel anything at that moment.
Documents
According to his documents, he was reported to have killed a considerable amount of people(whether it be children
or adults). He went into detail of his murders and how he terrorized every family he encountered just to
scare them into submission, “play dress up”, and kill them afterwards. He was only caught after he almost killed a mother of three.
The police managed to capture him and have him sent to prison for a court date.
In the documents, the psychiatrist that chatted with him reveals that he may be unaware of the harm
he’s causing as Gunner dodges the question by claiming that his victims deserved it. He may be fully
aware that the victims weren’t his wife and child, but chooses to “rewind” back to before he murdered them.
Childhood
In Gunner’s documents, it mention’s he was born out of an affair from a man who was Eddie Gluskin’s father,
revealing him to be Gluskin’s biological half-brother. The man that fathered him left his mother behind during the
pregnancy, leaving her to raise him by himself. It’s implied his mother may have held some resentment
toward Gunner and would take her anger out on him. Gunner goes into detail in a “childlike” tone about how
he was “a useless boy that ruined mommy’s life and womb”, indicating he was a victim of emotional abuse and neglect.
Relations
Gambler family:
Gunner had killed a mother of two twins, them being Kate and Chloe Gambler. He sustained a few wounds prior to escaping.
Stewart Family:
Just like Kate and Chloe, Travis had encountered Gunner. Al(Travis’ father) had acted in defense when Gunner attacked,
only for him to slice the man’s throat after the struggle. He then attacked both Travis and his mother, injuring both
him and her. Travis was being choked as police arrived and fell into unconsciousness. He managed to
escape prior. Gunner then was caught when he cornered the next family in a different town.

Creator’s Note:
Okay, so I based this off of Eddie Gluskin and I sort of loath it.
